Our directors are dedicated and experienced educators. Using proven administrative processes and creative teaching strategies, they make sure that every staff member finds a path to success.

We embrace a learning environment that will prepare children for the educational path ahead. Our classes incorporate traditional learning styles as well as hands-on experiences.

We are dedicated to excellence and with the help of our wonderful team and their collaboration we have been able to achieve and maintain a Star 4 rating at our center.
Credentials
Education is out priority, not just for our students but our staff. Many of our teachers hold an Associate Degree or higher in the Early Childhood Education field and we welcome holders of the Child Development Associate Certification.
Charter School
The opening of our Charter School is a great addition to the Pee Wee Prep legacy providing quality education for grades 1 through 5 making it a staple in the community as well as a great landing strip for Pee Wee Prep's Preschool graduates.

The year was 1991...
Back in the 90's, women were rapidly climbing the ranks in corporate America and finally getting their due credit in leading industries. It took a lot of work and usually demanded so much time that women had to choose between their career and having a family. With the movement of the modern woman, it became more common for women to conquer both career and family.
As a young couple, corporate leader-Stacy Gill-Phillips and husband, structural engineer-Brian Phillips decided with all their accomplishments, naturally the next goal was to start a family. They were soon blessed with the news of twins on the way. It was then that the need for quality childcare became a priority for the young couple. They searched high and low and were surprisingly unable to find a childcare program that met their high standards for their newborn twin sons. In an effort to solve a problem not only they had, but countless other working families in search of quality childcare programming they could trust, the Phillips' decided to open a center of their own1
With Stacy's business savvy matched with Brian's engineering abilities, the Phillips put all their savings together and took the leap of faith to build the very 1st Pee Wee Prep Learning Center, complete with custom built fixtures and state of the art wood structural design.
Over the years, many things have changed in Philadelphia, PA but what has remained consistent is the quality and care Pee Wee Prep offers the community as well as being the leading generational hub for learning and positive child development in the city.
In 30 years, Pee Wee Prep has had the pleasure of supporting over 10,000 children and families providing affordable infant & toddler childcare, Pre-Kindergarten, before & aftercare, nutritious meals, complimentary uniforms, field trips, holiday & birthday celebrations.
